Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? Oct 14 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

So I had decided to take time off from posting on my blog during summer weekends, hence my lack of participation in the Sunday Post and Mailbox Monday. Instead, I took up biking and ended up cycling almost every day all summer and into the autumn. It felt so good...and liberating not to be on the computer so much. But I have missed visiting your blogs, so I'm back to see what you're all reading and blogging about!

Mailbox Monday Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

What I read and/or featured in last two weeks:

A Life By Design (The Italian Family Series) by Lucy Appadoo (Book Spotlight and Giveaway!) Romantic suspense set in Milan

Death Logs Out by E.J. Simon (Review and Giveaway!) Fantastic ending to this trilogy but I have a feeling Book #4 is on its way.

The Wisdom of Listening: Pieces of Gold from a Decade of Interviewing and Life by Marilyn R. Wilson (Review, Author Interview and Giveaway!) Loved this one.

 Currently Reading:

Just started this one and thrilled to finally be reading a book by this author.

Hope you all have a great reading week.

  1. It's so hot here in the summer that I wait until fall to get outside for exercise and fresh air. I usually do long walks, and camping time is approaching. My son and I have a few weekends planned for that. Should be fun. Happy cycling:)

    1. This year I cycled between May and October. Our summer was hotter than usual but the heat doesn't bother me. I like taking long walks too.

    1. Yes, it felt liberating. It's been years since I've cycled so much. I'm glad I took it up again.

  5. It has been too hot here to bicycle or even walk...but now would be a good time. Thanks for the inspiration.

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

    1. It's now too cold here, although it doesn't stop those die-hard bikers. For me, it's a form of exercise I love.

  8. Welcome back! It sounds like you had fun biking. I sold my bike before I moved to Duluth since Duluth has way too many hills for this casual biker. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

    1. Thank you, Kathy! I'm actually thinking of getting a lighter bike since I'm now biking more than I used to.

  10. It’s awesome that you’ve been biking so much. I used to ride my bike all the time, but I stopped a few years ago when I started running. I hope you enjoy your new books!
