I watched Allied with Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard on Netflix. It was good and sad...but not great. I felt there was something lacking between the two actors. I did not feel any chemistry between them. Hope you all have a great reading week!

I read the first book The Unexpected Gift of Joseph Bridgeman in 2017 and loved it. It's one of the best time-travel books I read so I was excited when I saw that the second book was recently released.
What I read and/or featured last week:
Another winner by Lauren Carr. Murder mystery whodunit with laugh-out-loud moments.
This was a classic fast-paced action-packed thriller with a great main character.

I'm glad your eye is better. I watched Allied at the movies when it came out and I had the first impression. The movie was not bad, but it could've been better.ReplyDelete
Ah, so I'm not the only one who felt this way. Thanks for stopping by!Delete
Good to hear the eye difficulty has been sorted. Nothing like a good thrilling action packed book.ReplyDelete

Great news your eye is improving. My son had a blocked tear duct as an infant. Not fun.ReplyDelete
I'm glad your eye is better - I've heard a blocked tear duct is painful. It looks like you've got some good reading ahead of you.ReplyDelete
I'm hoping to read books for pleasure rather than review in December.Delete
Wow, I remember getting blocked tear ducts years ago. Very painful. So glad you're better.ReplyDelete
