Sunday Post, Sunday Salon, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? Jan 31Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share our news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Sunday Salon hosted by Readerbuzz is simply a place for us to link up and to share what we have been doing during the week. Sunday Salon is a great way to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there.

This was a good week, keeping myself productive with work, family, volunteering, drinking good teas, eating delicious chocolate, and of course, reading and blogging. My daughter and I are watching Season 2 of Jamestown on PBS, which we are enjoying quite a bit. The days are getting longer, and we are having a very sunny (but cold) weekend.

Hope you are all well. Stay safe and take care of each other.

Mailbox Monday Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

What I reviewed and/or featured last week:

The Vanishing at Loxby Manor is a gothic historical novel with some romance and lots of mystery. Don't you just love that cover?

As the writer of the award-winning humor column “Grammar Guy,” Curtis Honeycutt’s grammar advice appears in dozens of newspapers every week. His debut book is filled with witty word wisdom.

  1. I think I need to read I Can Handle It. I was just telling my dad that I can't! I'm so tired of being trapped indoors.

I like the look of It Happened in Tuscany, too. One of my favorite parts of the planet.

Good Grammar is my sort of read. I wonder if I can find it around here.

And there's Dream It and Do It. Lots of great books on your shelf this week.

  5. It's been cold here too. Yikes. We got some snow but thankfully not too much. I'm becoming a fan of tea more and more as I drink it more these days.

Hope you have a great week.

It Happened In Tuscany looks good. Blue sky Kingdom has me curious too!

  11. So glad you got this book by MK Todd. We featured it on France Book Tours a few years ago, and several others by hers, they are all very good. She's actually working on publishing another one very soon, so keep your eyes on France Book Tours for a review copy!

  12. I hope you love your new books! I’ve been trying to stay busy too. The internet was broken for most of the day, so I cleaned all my rooms. I’m productive when I don’t have the internet and can’t leave the house. Have a great week!
