Sunday Post, Sunday Salon, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? Nov 15 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share our news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Sunday Salon hosted by Readerbuzz is simply a place for us to link up and to share what we have been doing during the week. Sunday Salon is a great way to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there.

I finally decided to watch The Mandalorian. I binged watched the first 4 episodes. I'm in love with Baby Yoda, of course. And Mando is the new hero these days. My reading took a hit this week. I'm stressed with work and family issues. I've been enjoying discovering new books with Nonfiction November, which I'm finding to be fun.

Hope you are all well. Stay safe and take care of each other.

Mailbox Monday Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

What I reviewed and/or featured last week:

I highlight 5 book pairings of fiction and nonfiction books

Currently Reading:

One third in...this novel is very well-written. The cover doesn't do it justice

  1. It's a time where we all just do the best we can. I was happy to switch over and handle some indoor projects when it rained this week for a few days. Happy reading and stay well!

    1. Yes, well said. We do the best we can. I tend to be hard on myself and never think I do enough.

  2. I hope the work and family issues go away soon - hope your next week is better. My husband has been watching the Mandalorian and I've watched some with him. I've just never gotten the allure of Star Wars even though I've watched all/most movies. I'm more into Star Trek and can recall the Trekkie canon better than the Star Wars one.

  3. My nephew recommended Mandalorian this week. I think we need to give it a try.

I've been greatly enjoying Nonfiction November, too. I'm always fascinated with book pairings, and I'm eager to see what people come up with for Be the Expert.

    Have a great week.

  5. I'm really enjoying Nonfiction November as well. It's great to get suggestions for nonfiction that bloggers have enjoyed and most of it is stuff I haven't heard of.

  7. I am glad you are enjoying The Mandalorian. We are big fans in our house, especially of Baby Yoda. I hope things settle down for you with work and the family issues. I know how stressful that can be.

I will have to check out Gentleman Jim. That sounds like a fun historical romance.

Ihope you continue to enjoy you reading! Have a great week, Laura.

  9. Yes, Mando and child are the bright escape in my week. My grandson got a child for his birthday and his sister loved it so much, we ended up getting her one too. They are both sleeping with them! I hope things ease up for you.

  10. Nonfiction November sounds great. I've been a little opposite and embracing as much reading as possible this month. It helps that I do writers groups throughout the week somehow-I think I'm always looking for new material.
