My kids poured over the magazine and quickly started reading it, solving the puzzles, and thinking how to apply the money-making tips. There's also an article on how money is made from start to finish with cool pics from the Royal Canadian Mint. I liked the quiz on What Kind of Saver Are You? And of course it's jam-packed with jokes, fun facts, comics and fun illustrations that's found in all of ChickaDEE's issues.
My son's interest in his money collection was renewed and he spent hours organizing it. My daughter took more seriously her spending money, and I was happy to see my kids reading and learning more about money—how to spend, donate and save it.
Both parents and educators can use this resourceful magazine to help children better understand about money. If this is a topic you want to explore more with your kids in a fun and interactive way, I encourage you to pick up a copy today at your local Chapters, magazine store or library. I guarantee your kids will love this issue and so will you.

Every Saturday, Booking Mama hosts a feature called Kid Konnection—a regular weekend feature about anything related to children's books. If you'd like to participate in Kid Konnection and share a post about anything related to children's books (picture, middle grade, or young adult) from the past week, visit Booking Mama.
Owlkids must have some wonderful publications. I like the idea of introducing money management to kids at a young age!
