Sunday Post, Sunday Salon, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? Jan 24 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share our news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Sunday Salon hosted by Readerbuzz is simply a place for us to link up and to share what we have been doing during the week. Sunday Salon is a great way to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there.

This was a busy work week, and a gorgeous sunny cold weekend with a bright blue sky. So far my resolutions/goals have helped me to stay up to date with my reading. I have a good morning routine and I'm currently working on a nighttime routine. There are so many things on my to-do list and unless I carve out some time for them they won't get done. I thrive on these new challenges, both bookish and personal. It's a good way to keep moving forward and staying positive.

Hope you are all well. Stay safe and take care of each other.

Mailbox Monday Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

What I reviewed and/or featured last week:

I spotlighted the latest release in the Montana Gallagher Series. Isn't that a beautiful cover? Be sure to check out the Cozy Reading Bundle giveaway.

I have a guest review posted for this book.

Once again, talented Pamela Ford took me on an emotional journey with this well-written Irish-themed love story. So far one of my favorite reads this year. Enter the giveaway to win a copy!

I found this to be a lovely picture book about perseverance in the pursuit of one's dream and about the power of friendship.

  1. I heard about Georgiana and I'm widely curious to find out if it's good (I heard it is). I also heard a lot about The dinner by Herman Koch but haven't managed to read it yet - the rabbit on the cover of this one is so cute ! Good luck with your routines, I hope the book on schedules will help :)

  2. I'm so glad your morning routine is working well for you. I feel like I am enjoying mine, too. I think your book is right: Change Your Schedule, Change Your Life.

Dragons Don't Dance Ballet looks like my sort of book. I also like the look of Brain Fables.

I do hope you'll have a lovely week.

  4. I used to have a good morning routine but that went boom ever since my 2yo started waking up earlier than I do. I could try waking up earlier but I'll be exhausted. Darn!

I like the sound of Brain Fables. Have to check it out.

Hope you have a good week!

  5. I’m glad your resolutions are working for you! I didn’t make any because I failed badly at last year’s. Have a great week!

  6. You have a remarkable talent if you can juggle reading of so many different books at once. If I stop reading, I have to restart from the beginning!

  7. I love a sunny winter day! There's something about the cold, crisp air and the sunshine on the snow. Makes up for some of those dreary days we have to get through! Anyway love the look of the Dogs of winter. Have an awesome week!

  8. I really need to work on my routines - especially my morning ones. A productive morning is definitely a struggle for me and something a routine would definitely help with. I hope you have a great week!
