Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? April 2 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

It's finally April! It's great to have a long weekend as we slowly move into spring. Went to see Ready Player One at the cinema and enjoyed it. Especially all the references to 80s pop culture. Made me nostalgic, really. I have a son who is a gamer and who has a virtual reality system that I've tried several times. So, I was able to relate in that sense too. The movie was a good mix of futuristic, present and past. If you loved the book, I think you will love the movie too.

Mailbox Monday Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

    1. I don't know how closely it follows the book but it was definitely an entertaining movie, and the cinematography was fantastic.

    1. I didn't get a chance to read the book and usually I prefer to read the book first before watching the movie, but in this case because it was about virtual reality it was good to see it in movie format.
