Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? March 19 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

So last week most of you kindly reassured me in the comments that I would survive parenting during the teen years as I worry about my kids staying out late. Thank you, guys!

Well, your nor'easter made it all the way up to us folks in Canada and we got dumped 20 cm of heavy wet snow. But it melted quickly, thank goodness. Except that it's been bitterly cold! I'm so ready for spring.

Mailbox Monday Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

What I read and/or featured last week:

A Sicilian Farewell by MaryAnn Diorio (Review & Giveaway!) This was a good follow-up to the first book

Leland Stanford: The Double Life of a Railroad Tycoon (Review) Sandra's review

  1. Our weather has been up and down but, thankfully, we've had very little snow this winter. We've had some spring like weather and the pollen that comes along with it already. The Clod book looks cute!

  2. I do hope your weather warms up. (And yes, you'll get through those teen years... give them lots of love but caring boundaries too.)
Our weather is warming nicely now.
Clod looks like a fun book. Happy Reading!

  3. Here in the UK, we have felt the full force of a late winter snow storm this weekend and now at 5:30am, we are sat debating the viability of trying to head off out to work in the sub zero freeze which has been left behind!

'Clod Makes A Friend' looks lovely. I am so envious of the amazing talent of cover and graphics artists!

Enjoy your new books and have a good week :)
