Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? May 29 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I was away last weekend with my hubby to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!

We also met up with friends who made us homemade sushi, the best I've ever eaten:

We bought chocolates at the renowned Cotard Chocolatier in St-Sauveur. They had an impressive 6-foot tall, 150 kg chocolate sculpture of a bear in their shop:

On Tuesday I'm leaving for New York to attend BookExpo. I'll be writing up posts on my impressions of this year's BookExpo. Hope to see some of you there!

Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

Two books for review in my mailbox last week:

I've been waiting for this one. I'm always interested in the latest scientific discoveries about food that help fight illnesses.

I've already devoured this one. Was itching for a summer read. My review will be up tomorrow!

I bought this one after I saw it on Diary of an Eccentric:

Jane Austen and time travel? How could I resist?

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

Reading Now:

I was in the mood for something totally different and picked this one off my bookshelf. I'm almost finished reading it and will watch the movie afterwards.

Stop by and enter my giveaways!

Also posted on the right sidebar.

Hope you all have a great reading week.
