Well, 2017 is here and I can't help thinking that's 3 years away from 2020, which for some reason looks so futuristic as a year number, don't you think?
So, I'm finally on the mend from being sick all week. The best part is that I did rest and got a lot of reading done. I did a lot of thinking too and prepared myself mentally for some changes in all areas of my life, the first one being to simplify, starting with the layout of this post. And I'm also starting my year with a BANG.
This month I'm celebrating iRead Book Tours 3-year anniversary! Watch out for my post tomorrow with an awesome giveaway that you can enter by visiting any or all the wonderful book bloggers who have worked with me in the last 3 years and are helping me spread the word. If you want to help me celebrate by posting about this anniversary celebration, just click on the link above.
Mailbox Monday
Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.
I received these goodies in my mailbox:
This one is on tour with iRead Book Tours from Feb 6 to March 3:
I bought this one on sale for $0.99. It's time travel, one of my favorite genres.
I got this audiobook free after signing up to receive Audavoxx's newsletter:

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
What I read and featured last week:
The contemporary beach setting from Cassandra's world with the Gatsby-era 1920s glamour of Lawrence's world made the time-travel element in this book exciting.
Based on the real lives of Jane Austen, her family and Tom Lefroy, author Michaela MacColl has written a cozy YA mystery novel that is sure to please Austenesque fans of all ages.

I agree about 2020, that does sound rather futuristic doesn't it? Shouldn't we be more advanced by now lol? Anyway happy 2017! Love the cover of Until We Meet Again and Time Shift looks interesting!

Yeah...my hubby and I laugh when, as teens, we thought cars would be flying overhead by 2020.:-)
