Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? Jan 21 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I'm having a good start to my year, with emphasis on maintaining my wellness journey and beginning to implement some changes I've been working on. This weekend started with an email from friend and author Gabriel Valjan who sent me this pic: his cutie-pie cat Squeak with a copy of my novel and the caption "Paw of approval",

Squeak, otherwise known as Don Gatto, with a copy of my novel Daughter of Mine

...and ended with the first epic snowstorm of 2019. Not only did we get dumped with 25 cm of snow but it was a bone-chilling -31 Celcius with the windchill. That's -24 Fahrenheit! This cold will linger until Tuesday. Anyone else experiencing crazy weather?

Mailbox Monday Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

What I reviewed and/or featured last week:

Finders Keepers: The Definitive Edition by Russ Colchamiro (Review and Giveaway!)
This was a wacky book!

Cinder by Marissa Meyer (Review)

  3. It's really cold here too but luckily we're not getting snow at the moment- we just have a bit that we got the other day. Hope it warms up there!

  4. It snowed like crazy this Sunday and now it is bitter cold. I'm done with winter.

Your two new books look great. I enjoyed Cinder too. Not my usual genre, so it was a bit surprising.

Hope you have a great week.

  9. We had the same temperatures but missed the last round of snow. They are forecasting some for tonight but not very much by Minnesota standards. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  11. Your friend’s cat is very cute, it has the same colouring as our cat. I think I should get a copy of Brain Rules before it’s too late.
We are getting crazy weather here too. Up to 40 Celsius some days but we have also been getting some rain which is great as we’ve been in drought for so long.
