Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? Nov 19 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

So my eye is better. Turned out it was a blocked tear duct that turned into a painful stye on my lower lid. It's not quite gone but at least it's less painful.

I watched Allied with Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard on Netflix. It was good and sad...but not great. I felt there was something lacking between the two actors. I did not feel any chemistry between them. Hope you all have a great reading week!

Mailbox Monday Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

I read the first book The Unexpected Gift of Joseph Bridgeman in 2017 and loved it. It's one of the best time-travel books I read so I was excited when I saw that the second book was recently released.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

What I read and/or featured last week:

Another winner by Lauren Carr. Murder mystery whodunit with laugh-out-loud moments.

This was a classic fast-paced action-packed thriller with a great main character.

  1. I'm glad your eye is better. I watched Allied at the movies when it came out and I had the first impression. The movie was not bad, but it could've been better.

  2. Good to hear the eye difficulty has been sorted. Nothing like a good thrilling action packed book.

Enjoy your week, and I'm curious about the Lauren Carr book. The Consultant looks good, too. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
