Thanks to Kristen at Bookworming in the 21st Century for hosting this event. Although it was a busy week for me, I focused more on reading and less on blogging. I spent time at the pool with the kids and did some reading there and in between chores. I did better than I thought.
Here's how I did:
Finished reading:
Countdown by Deborah Wiles
DNF:
Pocket of Guilt by Dora Lee Thompson (stopped at p.128)
Read from start to finish:
Trackers by Patrick Carman
How to Make a Bird by Martine Murray
The Book About Tony Chestnut by Laurie Monopoli
Started:
Julia Gillian (and the Dream of the Dog) by Alison McGhee
I Survived The Sinking of the Titanic, 1912 by Lauren Tarshis
The 39 Clues Book 8: The Emperor's Code by Gordon Korman
I did not tally up my hours as I read in spurts a lot of the time. But I enjoyed taking part in this readathon, and I would be willing to do it again.

It looks like you had a great week in books!!
ReplyDeletethat's quite an achievement!
ReplyDeleteI really need to catch up on the 39 clues series. You did great even with having fun with the kids. :-D Which is always fun anyways.
ReplyDeleteI read a few minutes here and a few minutes there during the day. I try to do my heavy reading at night and on Sunday. I didn't do so well on the readathon but I did get some books read so it's all good! I'd do it again. You did great!
