It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organize yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
What I reviewed and/or featured last week:
A well-written Austenesque historical fiction novel that I enjoyed immensely.
A guest review of a fun, intriguing, and delightful cozy mystery with fun characters—and a good mystery to boot.
This is an interesting collection of poems from a man in touch with his feelings, his creativity, and his inspirations.
Check out some of the books on the topic of neuroscience that I love to read

Beat Saber reminds me of a mini- game from the old Wii Sports Resort game haha. Minus the VR part, Those are fun.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful week ahead!
VR makes it such an all encompassing game because all your senses are on high alert. I'm enjoying it!
DeleteI'm glad you had a satisfying week and hope this one is more relaxing! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Have a good week, Laura. The VR game sounds fun but challenging!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun, and I need fun on the weekends. :-)
DeleteI think I’d be terrible at that game. Coordination is not my thing! I’m surprised I can walk without falling on my face. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
But you've taken on running so your coordination can't be that bad. ;-)
DeleteI hope reading and crosswords are enough to keep my brain active. I haven’t had a chance to try a VR game, I’d like to though.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week
Reading and crosswords are great activities to keep the mind active.
DeleteThe Paris Dressmaker cover stopped me in my tracks. The word "Paris" is usually enough to add a book to my TBR, but that cover adds to the book's allure.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed Nonfiction November so much this year. I've ended up with a wonderful list of books to look for.
I've never played a VR game, nor even a video game, I guess, but it sounds like great fun.
I know, right? Such a gorgeous cover! Nonfiction November has been a lot of fun. I've not only discovered new books but new blogs too.
DeleteSo many tempting books to add to my list, beginning with The Paris Dressmaker. Enjoy your upcoming week, and here are my WEEKLY UPDATES
ReplyDeleteI offer supplementary reading classes at school and part of it is a computer "game" that mainly develops your cognitive skills. I mainly have youngsters but it's soooo good for adults as well! We need to keep those cognitive skills as sharp as a knife.
ReplyDeleteThe Paris Dressmaker has the most gorgeous cover.
Happy reading and have a great weekend.
So true, plus we need to remember to enjoy playing like we did when we were kids.
DeleteAnd yep, I love that gorgeous book cover too!
Nice looking assortment of books. Such an interesting variety. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking books Laura. Nice and varied. The sabre game sounds fun, not sure I'd be very good at it!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a busy week in books too. The sabre game sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteI like the looks of Of Darkness and Light and Back to the Burgh looks fun.
Have a good week and Happy Reading!
My husband and I had intended to wait until all Mandalorian season 2 episodes were released before we started watching it. That resolution didn't even last a week so now we're anxiously awaiting each new episode along with the rest of the world!
ReplyDeleteThe Paris Dressmaker book has a beautiful cover.
Enjoy your week!
