Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? June 5 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I've just returned from NYC where I attended BookExpo. I had a great time both at the event and visiting Times Square and watching the Broadway show Sunset Blvd with Glenn Close. I never knew she could sing. Impressive performance.

Mailbox Monday BookExpo Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

This year I picked up fewer books than previous years. I just can't bring them all home on the train. My luggage was heavy enough with these beauties:

This is my fiction pile. Many of which are signed by the authors and I can't wait to read them!

This is my MG/YA and non-fiction pile. I had a quick chat in Italian with Rossella Rago about her grandmother's recipes that she included in Cooking with Nonna.

I picked up these two children's books because I just couldn't pass them up.

Look for my BookExpo posts this week as I discuss my impressions on the event and the changes from previous years.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

    1. I read Hoover's first book when she was still an Indie author, but haven't read anything since. I'm looking forward to reading this one.

  6. I was only at BEA a half day and my books aren't here yet but I don't think we got many of the same books which always amazes me. It's like the show is different to every person who attends.
