Busy week at work amidst a week filled with heavy rainfall and no sun whatsoever. And when the sun did peek out from time to time on Saturday and then more today, it makes me want to clean my house and declutter big time. How do we accumulate so much stuff over time? I'm dusting off my bike and plan to start biking along the bike path that follows the river near where I live. I'm tired of hibernating!
Mailbox Monday
Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.
No review books in my mailbox this week. I have plenty to read and look forward to digging into my TBR shelf.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
What I read and/or featured last week:
Mama's Knight: A Cancer Story of Love by Aurora Whittet (Book Spotlight and Giveaway!)
All the World A Poem by Gilles Tibo, Illustrated by Manon Gauthier (Review)

Hope you all have a great reading week.
It does feel good to be out once the weather finally turns. We had rain on and off all week last week, and it finally got nice yesterday (70's today). Nice after days and days of gray.
ReplyDeleteRoad Signs That Say West looks interesting!
I totally agree! It's finally starting to feel like spring.
DeleteI hope you get some sun so you can ride out of hibernation!
ReplyDeleteI agree - we collect way too much stuff.
Good to get a breather from review books. Enjoy your TBR reading.
Me too!
DeleteI always wonder how we manage to accumulate so much stuff too. We're hoping to get rid of some stuff this week! Great reading list, and each of the covers is so striking! Here's my reading list for this week: http://bit.ly/2ohUEDD
ReplyDeleteSpring is such a good time for purging. They say less is more and with two teen kids, I agree!
DeleteI am so ready for spring. Even though we didn't get an unusual amount of snow it seemed like a very long winter. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteIt's true. Winters always seem long no matter what.
DeleteWe have had more than our fair share of gray skies too. Saturday was lovely though. I'm also in a de-cluttering phase of my life. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI love purging. Always makes me feel better.
DeleteI'm sure you're ready for some sunshine!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have a quiet mailbox week from time to time.
You've inspired me to do a little house cleaning...I've postponed it, as week before last, I was preparing for my getaway...and now I'm up to my eyeballs in review books.
ReplyDeleteBut I think it is long overdue.
Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
I'm up to my eyeballs in review books too and my work is so busy, so to de-stress I clean. It gets my mind off things for a while and it gets my body moving.
DeleteI really enjoy haiku!
ReplyDeleteRoad Signs That Say West is definitely catching my attention. I'm posting while on my road trip, thanks to my trusty smart phone. It's Monday! What are your reading?
ReplyDeleteI'm not crazy about long car rides but this book made me appreciate how much fun a road trip can be!
DeleteHi Laura,
ReplyDeleteLast week, here in the south of the UK, was absolutely beautiful and high summer scorching hot. Today by comparison has been decidedly chlly and is set to stay that way over Easter ... wouldn't you know it!
As I work in a charity retail shop, accepting donations on a daily basis from people who are spring-cleaning and decluttering, you would think I would have done the same in my own home .... Oh Well! maybe one day. Starting with some of the hundreds of books I own and which I will never have time to read, might be a good idea!!
I hope that the bike riding blows away some of those winter blues :)
Yvonne
I purged my book collection too and came up with 4 bags to give away. I'm making room for the new books coming in.
DeleteEnjoy your books and do get out on that bike and enjoy your Spring. I am thinking I might acquire one and go ride too, but have to think about it a little more!
ReplyDeleteNice collection of books this week.
ReplyDeleteENJOY, and have a wonderful week.
