My kids are finally going back to school on Tuesday. It was great to have a laid-back two weeks of late mornings, brunches, sleep-overs and late nights watching movies, but I'm itching to get back to my regular routine. It's hard to work from home with teens taking over the house! :-D
My tour company iRead Book Tours is celebrating its 3 Year Anniversary! Come celebrate with us. We have an awesome giveaway too.
Mailbox Monday

Got it free on Kindle:
I bought these audiobooks with some credits I had accumulated on Audiobooks.com:

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

Hope you all have a great reading week.
Enjoy getting back into the routines! I love them, even though it's fun to have guests...or grown children hanging out.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cover on The Extraordinary Journey of Vivienne Marshall.
Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Yeah...I like spontaneity but routines keep me grounded. :-)
DeleteCongrats on the tour company anniversary! And I agree- routine is good lol. That Summer looks nice and I enjoyed Love and gelato- I bet it would be very nice on audio. I also want to read Under Rose Tainted- nice review. I like that it seems genuine and also that it has a good portrayal since the parenting can be MIA in YA books. I've been eyeing that one and think I'm going to try it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg! It was your review of Love & Gelato that made me go for the audiobook when I saw it. I hope you like Under Rose-Tainted Skies if you read it.
DeleteI bet my mom would love America's First Daughter. Enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteI hope I love it too.
DeleteWow, your kids had a very long break. Enjoy getting back to a routine. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI like getting back to the normal routine too. I loved the Into The Wilderness series, it will be great on audio.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you loved Into the Wilderness. I'm excited to start listening to it!
DeleteI definitely feel the same way after a holiday - I love the crazy business and unpredictability of the holidays, but it's so refreshing to get back to my regular routine!
ReplyDeleteAmerica's First Daughter looks really good. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteIt's gotten a lot of buzz and tons of reviews. I'm curious, really.
DeleteAh some great books, I have the Willig book in my possibles list on Audible so will be interested to see what you have to say. Congrats on the iRead Book Tours 3 year celebration. Love the cover of Good Morning, Mr Grumple. Immediately wanted to read it!
ReplyDeleteMr Grumple is simply adorable! Reminds me so much of my early morning routines with my son when he was much younger.
DeleteGood to have your house back. :)
ReplyDeleteYour books all look quite good.
ENJOY your reading and working week.

My Mailbox Monday
Yes, it will be quiet again. :-)
DeleteEnjoy your books! Rebellious Parenting sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI know. I'm curious about this parenting book.
DeleteYes, I get more done when there is a routine - even if I am busier. Congrats on 3 years with your tour company. I hope the week ahead is a good one as you all adjust.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to get up early again. I help my kids get to school in the mornings and sometimes I wish I could sleep in a little more.
DeleteMy granddaughters come to the office (my daughter is my main employee). With the office changes they each got a separate room and it is working out better for our work performance. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have some beautiful covers today. Expanded Joy looks very nice. The audios look good too. Happy Reading and Congratulations on the 3 Year Anniversary! Well done.
Hi Laura,
ReplyDeleteThe children have been back at school for a week in most parts of the UK, so parents here were heard complaining that they broke up for Christmas far too early and caused a headache that way!
I hope that you are making the most of getting your space and peace back - until the next holiday of course!!
You have a great haul of titles this week and although nothing really jumps out at me, I had fun checking some of them out and admiring the lovely cover art of others.
I hope that you enjoy them all :)
Yvonne
First Daughter has been on my radar, but all of your books look good. I cannot wait to hear about your next week.
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on the work anniversary!
