Spotlight on Editoral Saure and its educational books!

As many of you know, Library of Clean Reads loves to support kidlit. Today, we are kicking off the virtual blog tour for David Travels to the Past, a graphic novel that teaches kids about history. You can follow the tour by visiting David Travels to the Past Tour page on iRead Book Tours.

Book Description:

David is a young and restless apprentice painter who wants to know everything about painting. His intelligent teacher, the Master Messina, invents a way of transporting David through time to prehistory. They go there looking for the origins of art, but once they are there nothing will be as they thought.

In a second adventure they travel towards the unknown art of Mesopotamia. This time they won´t go alone. The sympathetic and intelligent Angela will travel to the past with them bringing her particular point of view.

So we want to begin the tour by spotlighting the publisher Editorial Saure, a publishing company founded in 2002 that is situated in Spain and focuses on publishing educational graphic novels. They work with organizations linked to social awareness and they create campaigns and content with an artistic, cultural and educational dimension. Their website is available in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and Euskera, a Basque language.

Here are some of their collections:

My son and I will be posting our review of David Travels to the Past on Nov 28. We look forward to sharing our thoughts on this fun and educational graphic novel. We are happy to be working with this foreign publisher who is looking to introduce his publications to a North American audience. Check out their site and connect with them on social media. Also be sure to enter the giveaway to win a copy!
