Celebrating the Royal Wedding with Giveaways!

Check out the Sourcebooks British Babes Book Brigade Facebook Page (where you can participate in giveaways and interact with authors like Elizabeth Chadwick, Jill Mansell, Helen Hollick, Sarah Bower and Phillipa Ashley and more…) this week, starting today, because the page is about to go royally mad!!

The royal wedding is less than a week away and Sourcebooks is going to be celebrating all this week. Starting today they will be doing a giveaway every day until the big celebration on Friday. But these are no ordinary giveaways – these are royal wedding prize packs!

Three winners will be randomly picked each day:

- The 1st place winner will get a William & Kate wedding memento (it is top secret for now just like Kate’s dress) but check the page out to find out – oh and they are all different so there will be a different memento each day). Along with that they also get their choice of three books from any of our British Book Babes.

- The 2nd place winner will have their choice of any two books from any of our British Book Babes.

- The 3rd place winner will have their choice of one book from any of our British Book Babes.

BUT there's more! Sourcebooks has generously offered to give away two Georgette Heyer titles to one of my followers! It's a "grab bag giveaway" so the books are a surprise.

Entering is easy:

1. Leave a comment telling me what you look forward to the most about the royal wedding. Please include your email.
2. Consider following my blog for an extra entry. Leave a second comment telling me if you are a new or current follower.
3. Open to US and Canada.
4. One winner will be chosen using Random.org.
5. Giveaway ends May 1st, 2011.

    Royal weddings bring out the fantasy of a Prince finding his Princess among the "dull normals" and shirking the search of being tied to the bluebloods of royalty. Ahhhh sighs... we all dream of being picked as the Princess and discovering the handsome Prince & ride out to the castle a la Darcy kind..... Sighs...

    Most want a happy ending for them--that is, a long, successful marriage.

    His parents weren't the best example, but his parents and grandparents managed.

    There is nothing to compare with the English pagentry. I walked past Buckingham Palace every day on my way to work until I moved to the U.S. in the 1980s. It will be lovely to watch the familiar landscape and watch a couple who truly seem in love.
