This year I am trying to focus on having fun participating in challenges that will help me read the books I want to read for pleasure and not just for review because through my fellow book bloggers I have discovered other genres and must-reads. Instead of targeting a certain number of books to read, I will choose what goes on my reading list more carefully. So you will see a number of challenge posts published in the next few days.
Here are some of the things coming up on Library of Clean Reads:
- January 14-17 - Dreaming of Books Giveaway Hop hosted by I Am a Reader Not a Writer and Reviews by Martha's Bookshelf
- January 21-23 - Bloggiesta 4th Edition hosted by Maw Books Blog. I will be making improvement changes to my blog, getting rid of clutter and creating pages and better labels for my posts. Join the fun!
- February - Hosting Mailbox Monday!

I'm trying to attack my reading pile in a new way... I haven't found said way yet, although it'll involve cycling in some person reading amongst the review books I receive. The mountain of books I've purchased for pleasure reading has grown exponentially, and I haven't had time to tackle it with all of my review books :/ReplyDelete
I think reading for pleasure is important so that a book reviewer does not lose the pleasure of reading altogether, which could happen. Thanks for stopping by!
I agree with you...reading for the fun of it!ReplyDelete
Reviews are fun, but I need to limit them, especially adult books.
Looking forward to your fun!
