Sunday Post, Mailbox Monday and It's Monday What Are You Reading? Nov 18 Edition

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

So autumn flew out the window this week as winter came flying in, quite aggressively I might add, dumping 15 cm of snow on Nov 11 with sub-zero freezing temperatures. What?! Some trees still have leaves on them. Autumn isn't over yet. A lot of us still had to get our winter wheels on. In Quebec, they are manditory from Dec 1 to March 15.

Anyhoo...I've been pretty exhausted, fighting the snow on my drive to work, and the time change from last week is finally catching up to me. I fall into bed tired every night. Not much reading done, although I have some exciting reads coming up. Hope you're all having a great reading week!

Mailbox Monday Edition

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday now has a permanent home on its blog. Link up to share your MM.

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever-growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

  1. Same here with the trees- we still have a fair amount of leaves too. It's like winter got impatient and is just rudely butting in lol. Not happy about it. :)

Hope your reads are good and have a great week!

  2. We seemed to have skipped fall all together but our winter is nothing compared to yours. I hope you find time to read soon!

  3. Fall didn’t last long here, either. We had about a week of it, and then it snowed. Enjoy your new books. Have a great week!

Aj @ Read All The Things!

  4. Our worship leader this morning joked about our 19 minutes of a beautiful fall. But of course 40 degrees is winter cold for us.
I like the covers of Oppressed and Ten Silver Coins.
I hope you catch up on your sleep and enjoy some Happy Reading!

  5. The books look great. So the winter is beginning to show its face to you, and it seems its added more work for you. Never having lived in snow I don't see that side of it!

  6. That’s a lot of snow!

Wishing you a great reading week

  7. Our temperatures have dropped as if winter has already arrived, but luckily no snow yet. Hopefully, this isn't going to be a tough winter for you guys.

Your books look great. Love the cover on Oppressed and Empowered. Have a nice week.

  8. Hm that book about book reviews seems like it'd be an interesting read as a book blogger as well!

  9. All that snow sounds intimidating!

Enjoy those books, which all look interesting. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

  10. It seems that we skipped Fall here in Northern Minnesota too. My brother has his snow tires on the car but I don't have any. I don't drive on days the roads aren't clear which is a perk of being retired. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  11. Stay safe....Yikes on the amount of snow already.

ENJOY your books and your week that is going so quickly again.
