We watched Thor: Ragnarok and it was a fun movie with some comical moments that cracked me up. Everyone's talking about A Star is Born but I just can't muster up the courage to watch it. I don't want to cry and feel totally messed up by it. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I already started reading this one and I'm learning a whole new way of decluttering.
I read the first two books and I'm looking forward to the end of this historical YA trilogy that I've loved so far.
I couldn't help buying Adriana's latest novel...

All your books are new to me. My weekly update
ReplyDeleteI saw A Star is Born but didn't know it would end the way it did. It was sad for sure.
ReplyDeleteYou're going to love Tony's Wife!
Yeah...that's what I thought.
DeleteI can't wait to read Tony's Wife!
I do want to read Tony's Wife.
ReplyDeleteI've heard good things about the newest version of A Star Is Born, but I loved the 1976 production, with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, so it's hard to imagine loving this one as much. Sigh.
Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I did not know it was a version of the original movie by that title!
DeleteI've put off seeing ASIB because anyone who saw it when it first came out told me they did the "ugly cry" at the end. I decided then that I'll just wait and watch when it is available for streaming at home. That said, another friend saw it a week ago and said she didn't cry at all. So it must be an individual thing. I hope to read the new Trigiani at some point. I always enjoy her novels.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'd rather see it in private too. I KNOW I will cry for sure and I'd rather bawl at home.
DeleteKondo's book is really good. Here is my post: https://wordsandpeace.com/2018/12/03/mailbox-monday-december-3/
ReplyDeleteI try to avoid movies that I think are going to make me cry.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books!
I don't so much mind movies that make me cry, but I definitely have to be in the mood for it! Aw, Tammy the Little Cat with a Big Attitude sounds like my kitten, Sunny. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteMy roundup!
You got a nice looking assortment of new books. All of your books are new to me. I hope you enjoy them. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy decluttering, it always just sounds so great but every so often I just go through and rid myself of "no longer usuable!" But tidying up is always a mood raiser I find.
ReplyDeleteGREAT book week.
ReplyDeleteBOTTICELLI'S MUSE and TONY'S WIFE should be good.
ENJOY....I love decluttering. I hope you make progress. :) I heard that book was good. :)
Thor:Ragnarok was fun, and I thought it was refreshing the way they amped up the humor a bit. And Tammy the Little Cat looks adorable.
ReplyDeleteLot's of good reading coming up. I'm thinking of listening to the Tidying up book soon. Its been on my TBR since 2015.
ReplyDeleteI guess A Star is Born a remake of the 1970s version. Not sure I'd want to watch that. The story does have a sad ending - at least the old one did.
I could see us watching Thor though.
Happy Reading!
I'm liking The Magic of Tidying up. It's all about the right mindset.
DeleteAww, the cat on that book cover is cute. November went way too fast. I don’t feel like I accomplished anything. I hope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I read the tidying up book a while back, but clearly none of her advice stuck!
