It's been busy since my return from BookExpo and I'm a little run down from all the activities last week and this one. My right ear was throbbing yesterday and I wondered if I had an slight ear infection. A few antibiotic drops and rest took care of that. Weather is warmer here in Montreal but still not warm enough for me. I think I was born in the wrong country!
Mailbox Monday Edition

My mailbox was really full this week! I have so much reading to do...he..he..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.
I sometimes think I'm in the wrong country too, and it's usually weather- related ha ha. Why wasn't I born in the topics?? Course I would probably complain about the heat or something. :)
ReplyDeleteI need to read your Infinity review since I just got those two, and I want to see what you thought of Expo too. I know there have been changes and I'm curious.
Warcross is one I'm kinda looking forward to, it will be my chance to try Marie Lu. Have a great week!
Yeah...the weather, let's not even go there. So glad you got the Infinity series. I'll be curious to see what you think.
DeleteI haven't tried Marie Lu either so looking forward to Warcross.
I remember needing a week's rest after BEA last year. Hope you had fun. I am glad the ear is doing better, those are unpleasant. Have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize how much energy the whole trip took. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThat was a full mailbox! If only we could ignore the rest of life and just read!
ReplyDeleteIf only! I'm at such a busy time in my life that reading actually keeps me sane.
DeletePrincess Pistachio looks adorable :) Hope your ear continues to feel better. That pain is the worst.
ReplyDeleteI agree, and my ear is much better.
DeleteI hope your ear feels better. That Best Pirate book is adorable.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
I can't resist kidlit. Reminds me of how I fell in love with reading as a kid.
DeleteWhen it is extremely hot here, I think I was born in the wrong place, too. LOL.
ReplyDeleteHowever, our weather has been strange lately...it was warm, and then cooled off, and tonight there was a big wind, so I had to lower my patio umbrella. Not willing to have another one destroyed by wind.
I hate earaches, and I have been plagued by them off and on...hope you feel better.
I like the look of Strings.
Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
We had heavy winds here yesterday too. I think the weather is strange everywhere. I haven't had an earache since I was a kid, so it felt strange. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteWarcross looks like a good one. Ooo, I am going to read your BEA experiences. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteYou got some great books Laura. Enjoy and hopefully it will start warming up for us.
ReplyDeleteI visited Montreal after high school. I loved taking photos there. I was awe struck by the architecture of the buildings. Glad to hear your ear infection went away quickly. It looks like you have some interesting reads ahead of you. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOur downtown resembles European cities. We even have a few cobble-stone streets.
DeleteNice assortment of books. I'm glad you are feeling better. I was glad to move a bit farther north this week. Southern Minnesota was getting too hot for me. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI'll take hot any day!
DeleteHopefully you are or will be getting some of the weather we are having. I am LOVING it. It is in the high 80's and humid. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad your ear is better.
Looks like you have some good books to look forward to. ENJOY!!
Are you going to post your BEA stash? And...how fun was the SPEED DATING?
Have a good week.
My Mailbox Monday
Yeah...it was finally hot and humid today, but the breeze was still cool at times. Speed dating was a lot of fun. So many good releases coming up this fall!
DeleteIt will be hot soon but right now we're having foggy drizzle and I'm enjoying it. The move is really happening. We have temporary housing squared away and most of our home library in storage now. Come see what I'm reading this week.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear it!
DeleteWe are melting in Mass, so come here for a visit. :) Lots of great books. I hope to go to BookExpo one day.
